This VR was shot just below the lookout tower, the fire moved up the hill and stopped just at the ridgeline. since there hasn't been a fire up here in many years there was a lot of fuel so the fire burned very hot and killed most of the trees in this area. A very eerie place, very quiet and a great place to recharge and relax. Turn around and look up the hill you will see radio towers, the fire lookout is just to the left behind the trees. In spite of the drought the plants have started to come back so there is green in this area.
